We would like to announce to all prospective bidders that we have made amendment on bid closing and opening date of bid invitation which was advertised on Ethiopian Herald, January 9 & 10, 2018.

Invitation for Bid (IFB)
Subject of Procurement: Construction of B+G+12 Apartment Building & Related Works
Procurement Number: ICB/FMOH/Apartment/B+G+12/01-2018
The Federal Ministry of Health, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders towards the cost for the Construction of B +G +12 Apartment Building located in Addis Ababa.
- Bidding will be conducted through the international Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Government Procurement Guideline and are open to all BC/GC-1 Contractors from eligible source country as defined in the guidelines.
- Required Works: Construction of B +G +12 Apartment Building Located in Addis Ababa
- Contractors, who are signed two and more contracts with Ministry of health or any of its Agencies, not accomplished its contract, could not participate in this bidding.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Health, Public Health Infrastructure Directorate, +251-11-55 00941 from 8:30 A.M - 12:30 A.M and 1:30 P.M -5:30 P.M from Monday to Friday.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1,000.00 (One Thousand Birr).
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M on February 28, 2018. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Birr 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Bid Security must be unconditional & in the form of CPO, Bank Guarantee and Irrevocable L/C from recognized Bank of Ethiopia or in Cash or any of permitted in Public Procurement & Property Administration Directive. If the bid Security issued from outside Ethiopia should be Counter Guaranteed by the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Insurance Bond is not acceptable. The bid security shall be attached with or in the original technical envelop.
- Bidders shall be required to submit bid documents with one outer envelope containing the original and copy of financial and technical proposals separately.
- Technical proposals of bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at Finance and Procurement Directorate Meeting Hall, Ministry of Health, Addis Ababa, at 10:30 A.M on February 28, 2018
