Discussion were held with UNOPS Procurement Advisor

(October 13/2025), The Federal Government Procurement and Property Authority is an institution that is working diligently to strengthen a modern government procurement and Property system and become one of the leading institutions in Africa by 2028. The authority has been able to digitalize operations to realize this vision, and fulfill its assigned responsibilities with high efficiency and increase the quality of service.
In particular, it has been given extensive functions and responsibilities under Proclamation 1333/2024, and it has been prepared guidelines and operating systems to carry out these functions and responsibilities, including Standard Ben Documents and Life Cost Analysis Documents. Therefore, the institution held discussions with UNOPS Procurement Advisor James Landels to improve the quality of the Life Costing Analysis document it is currently preparing. During the discussion, the content of the Life Costing Guidance document and UNOPS’s life-cycle costing guidance, as well as the overall procurement policy, were reflected for further discussion. In the discussion, to enhance the quality of the LCA document being prepared by the PPA, procurement experiences from various countries were presented by James, and discussions were held on the preliminary preparations and documents that should be prepared to ensure sustainable procurement.
